Turmeric is a plant \u2013 or, more specifically, its root \u2013 which is traditionally used as a spice and herbal remedy. One of its most important constituents is curcumin. This is of particular medical interest because it can act on several biological pathways simultaneously<\/strong>. <\/p>

The focus is particularly on processes related to inflammation, oxidative stress, immune regulation and regeneration.
