Artesunate is an active substance derived from traditional herbal medicine which is currently being scientifically investigated, primarily due to its biological versatility. Artesunate is particularly well known for its use in the treatment of malaria. Furthermore, the active substance is being discussed in integrative medicine in the context of cellular stress, inflammatory activity, immunomodulation and complex regenerative processes. <\/p>

At the Alpstein Clinic, we do not regard artesunate as an isolated standard solution, but rather as a potential component of a biological-integrative treatment approach<\/strong>.
