Anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and circulation-enhancing

Ozone Therapy

In this therapy, ozone is used intravenously, as an autohemotherapy treatment, or locally. Due to the very low dosage (25-50 ug/ml), the ozone is beneficial to health and is harmless. The therapy has an anti-inflammatory effect, relieves pain, promotes blood circulation, and also has a bactericidal, fungicidal and viricidal effect. Numerous scientific studies prove the effectiveness of ozone therapy.

In classic hyperbaric ozone therapy, blood is first taken, enriched with ozone by means of an overpressure procedure, and returned to the body via a vein. The treatment takes about 20 minutes. Intravenous ozone therapy is often supplemented by a suitable infusion therapy. For an optimal effect, in the Alpstein Clinic we recommend a series of ten or more treatments. With local injections, the ozone is injected directly into the tissue or introduced via a catheter, rectally or vaginally.
