Startseite Treatment spectrum Biophysiological and holistic dentistry
Holistic dentistry
With holistic dentistry, we at the Alpstein Clinic dental practice focus on preventing disease and promoting general health rather than just treating symptoms. Biophysiology combines processes at the biological and biochemical level with normal life science. This means that everything requires a regulated process and is linked to healthy rules and conditions, both in the disease process and in the recovery process. We view the body as a complex network (matter, information exchange, foreign substances, meridians, subtle substances) and take into account the connection between oral health and general health, including various factors such as dental materials, nutrition, lifestyle and stress management. The mouth is a reflection of the general state of health. Our health depends on us being free of blockages (interference fields).
Allergies/intolerances
Allergy to dental materials(allergy test / environmental dentistry / immunology)
Dental patients are exposed to a wide range of dental materials during dental treatment. These include various materials for dental restorations and fillings, such as metals (EM, NEM, amalgam), plastics, ceramics, implants and root filling materials. These can trigger local and systemic health complaints, have an effect on the immune system and cause permanent irritation. For our patients, we can individually determine possible existing intolerances to dental materials and, in the case of treatments, their tolerance prior to the insertion of dental prosthetic materials.
Our customized dental treatment approaches are designed to treat and/or prevent chronic inflammatory diseases outside the mouth. zu behandeln und/oder zu vermeiden.
Holistic Dentistry
Our diagnostic and testing procedures:
- Determination of the individual tendency to inflammation
- Type IV allergy test, especially to dental metals, plastics, ceramics; root filling materials
- Titanium stimulation test before or after titanium implantation
- Detection methods for allergies caused by prosthetic resins and cements
- Kinesiology (compatibility, search for interference fields, foreign substances, etc.)

Amalgam removal
Amalgam removal
Various metals and saliva can create a battery effect in the oral cavity, which results in
- metals decomposing
- saliva and bacterial flora change
- metal particles polluting the body
Metals such as mercury and palladium (heavy metals) can have a significant impact on health. They can be responsible for general poor performance, headaches, migraines, concentration problems, joint problems and systemic diseases. Simply removing them from the oral cavity is not enough. It is also necessary to remove all mercury and metal deposits in the body, support the immune system and the body’s own detoxification.
SMARTprotocol
Using the available scientific evidence, at Alpstein Clinic we use comprehensive protective measures to remove existing dental restorations (metals, plastics and ceramic restorations), including the SMART (Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique) protocol, developed by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) to protect patients as well as practitioners. Our recommendations are based on traditional, safe removal techniques such as the use of masks, irrigation, high volume suction etc. and we complement these conventional techniques with a range of additional integrative measures such as elimination and support for the immune system and the body’s own detoxification.
Ozone therapyReliably eliminate inflammatory bacteria, viruses and fungi
Inflammatory germs in the oral cavity are the main cause of tooth decay and periodontal disease. In the context of dental procedures, microbial pathogens can also lead to discomfort after surgery and generally delay the healing process (wound healing disorder). Ozone reliably disinfects, has a hemostatic effect and relieves pain. Ozone can be considered as an alternative to classic antibiotics. Ozone positively supports the healing process.

Laser therapy
Laser therapy & photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a treatment method that promotes healthy and firm gums. In addition, inflammatory germs can be reduced, pain, swelling and inflammation after dental surgery can be improved and homeostasis (increased blood circulation, fibroblast and osteoblast activity, minimal wound contraction) can be stimulated.
PRF/PRGF/PRPtherapy
Therapy with blood plasma, rich in growth factors, fibrin and blood platelets, is an autologous (the body’s own) therapy for surgical procedures on mucous membranes and bones in the jaw area. This accelerates inflammation-free and pain-reduced wound healing, promotes the formation of new blood vessels, cell regeneration and the formation of new bone and gums.

Neural therapy
Neural therapy
Using the connections of our nervous system, reflex zones and neuromodulatory triggers (interference fields), neural therapy not only relieves pain, but can also stimulate and physiologize blood circulation, lymphatic and immune function in a variety of ways, thereby positively influencing the healing of our body.
Magnetic field therapy
Pulsating magnetic fields strengthen the recovery and regulation of the organism. Every cell has molecules (ions) that are moved by the magnetic field therapy. This results in a better metabolism, improves blood circulation and increases the oxygen content, which is important for wound healing and regeneration and is disturbed by interference fields/inflammation.
Organopeptides
Organopeptides are diluted extracts from various tissues that specifically promote cell renewal and regeneration. Autologous whole blood therapy (AVT) allows us to enhance the effect even further. We use important organopeptide preparations in dentistry for gums, bones and immune function.
