Startseite Treatment spectrum Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and Graves‘ disease
Focus on thyroid balance: Efficient approaches for Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Graves' disease
Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and Graves’ disease are autoimmune thyroid diseases that affect thyroid function in different ways.
In Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, the immune system mistakenly attacks the patient’s own thyroid tissue, resulting in chronic inflammation and gradual destruction of the thyroid tissue. This can usually result in hypothyroidism.
Graves’ disease is also an autoimmune thyroid disease. In this case, the immune system produces antibodies that stimulate the thyroid gland to produce excessive thyroid hormones (known as hyperthyroidism). This leads to overloading of the body and possible eye changes (Graves’ eyes = protruding eyes).
Understanding causes and alleviating symptoms: The analysis for Hashimoto's and Graves' disease
The following factors can lead to Hashimoto’s thyroiditis or Graves’ disease: genetic factors, environmental factors (toxins, radiation), stress factors, other pre-existing autoimmune diseases, chronic inflammation (e.g. in the dental area), unhealthy eating habits, a dysregulated immune system in the gut and deficiencies in vital substances.

Diagnostic procedure for Hashimoto's and Graves' disease
Diagnostic procedure for Hashimoto's and Graves' disease
Laboratory examination of thyroid
hormones and antibodies
Test vital substances
(especially selenium, iodine)
Stool diagnostics
(e.g. exclusion of chronic inflammation)
Food intolerance
(to rule out an overactive immune system)
Exclusion of further autoimmune processes
Toxin testing
Ultrasound of the thyroid gland
Assessment of the dental status
(to rule out chronic inflammation in the dental area)
Multimodal therapy approaches
- Hormonal compensation of hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism
- Selenium and iodine supplementation if necessary, compensation of a vital substance deficiency
- Neural therapy
- Vital field therapy
- Intestinal build-up program and change of diet
- Health coaching to regulate stress
